Privacy Policy

ReelBear is a tool that helps you create short-form marketing videos and slideshows and, at your direction, publish them to social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and track how they perform. This Policy covers information handled through the Service. It does not cover the practices of the social platforms themselves or other third-party sites, which are governed by their own policies.

We collect the following categories of information:

•Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and workspace/organization details you provide when you sign up.

•Brand and content inputs: the product URLs, descriptions, brand profiles, uploaded images, app screenshots, screen recordings, reference links, and other materials you provide so we can generate content for you.

•Generated content: the videos, slideshows, images, captions, voiceovers, and related media the Service produces from your inputs.

•Connected social account data: when you connect a TikTok or Instagram account, we receive OAuth access tokens and the account information the platform provides — such as your account/profile identifiers and username — and, after you publish, post identifiers and performance metrics (for example views, likes, comments, shares, saves, and watch time) that we retrieve to show you analytics.

•Billing information: subscription plan, billing status, and related identifiers. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

•Usage and device information: log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken in the Service, collected to operate, secure, and improve it.

•Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage (see Section 11).

We use the information we collect to:

•Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating content from your inputs;

•Publish content to the social accounts you connect, when you (or automations you enable) direct us to;

•Retrieve and display post performance metrics and account statistics so you can measure results;

•Process subscriptions, billing, and credits, and prevent fraud;

•Provide customer support and respond to your requests;

•Monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service; and

•Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising unrelated to the Service.

When you connect a platform account, you authorize ReelBear to access and use platform data only to provide the Service to you — for example, to publish the content you create and to read back the resulting posts and metrics. Our access and use of information received through the TikTok and Meta (Instagram) platforms comply with the TikTok Developer Terms and Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including any limited-use requirements.

•We request only the permissions needed to publish content and read post analytics on your behalf.

•We do not sell or rent platform data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling or to build independent user profiles.

•We do not share platform data with third parties except the service providers that help us operate the Service (Section 6), as required by law, or as you direct.

•You can disconnect a platform at any time from your workspace settings, and you can revoke our access directly in your TikTok or Instagram account settings. After disconnection we stop accessing new platform data for that account.

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service. They process information only to perform services for us and under obligations of confidentiality. They include, among others:

•Cloud hosting and database infrastructure that runs the application;

•Media storage, encoding, and content-delivery providers that store and process the media you upload and the content we generate;

•AI model providers used to generate copy, images, video, voiceover, and music, and to analyze media quality;

•Stripe, for payment processing;

•TikTok and Meta, for publishing and analytics via their official APIs; and

•Email and operational tooling used for account and support communications.

Inputs and generated media may be transmitted to AI model providers to produce your content. We do not authorize these providers to use your data to train their models for their own purposes where such a setting is available to us.

We share information only as follows:

•With the service providers described above, to operate the Service;

•With social platforms you connect, to publish content and retrieve analytics at your direction;

•For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ReelBear, our users, or others;

•In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy; and

•With your consent or at your direction.

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Generated media and inputs are retained so your library and analytics remain available to you. When you delete content or your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data as described in Section 9, subject to backups that are purged on a rolling schedule.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can:

•Access and update most account and brand information directly in the Service;

•Disconnect any connected social account and revoke our platform access at any time;

•Export or request a copy of your data; and

•Request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 9).

To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can delete your data at any time. To delete individual content, remove it in the Service. To delete your entire account and associated personal information — including tokens and data retrieved from connected platforms — disconnect your platforms in settings and then email [email protected] from your account address with the subject "Data deletion request," or use the account-deletion option where available.

Upon a verified request we will delete your personal information from our active systems within 30 days and from backups on our normal rolling backup cycle, except where retention is required by law. Deleting your account does not delete content you already published to third-party platforms; you can remove that in those platforms directly.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of platform tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate you and keep you signed in, and we may use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.

The Service is intended for businesses and users age 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate the Service in the United States and may process and store information there and in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
